I might have made a good pioneer...
I have this problem. It's genetic. I can't just BUY something I need. I have this strange compulsion to MAKE things that I could very easily (and in many cases cheaply) purchase.
Take for example, notebooks. They are readily available at pretty much every kind of store - WalMart, Target, Drug Stores, Big Lots, maybe even like Lowes.
However, a store bought notebook would not be good enough. I had to make my own with a pack of loose leaf, three binder rings and two pieces of chipboard. I embellished it with some tiny little banners (cut from Lily Bee papers). Voila.
Now, it's so pretty that I don't want to write in it.

jewelry, layouts and a fun 80's Band
I've been on a jewelry making tear preparing for the Mt. Laurel festival. I've also been working on some layouts (fun).
And also finding time to hang out with Friends. PK and I went to the Comedy Club last night with the Fields and the Harpers to hear John Caparulo who was HILARIOUS. Seriously the funniest comedian I've ever heard live. I didn't stop laughing.
Here are Karly, Michelle and I posing with John in the parking lot.
Afterwards, we got all crazy and went to see an 80's cover Band called The Raygun Administration. They were so much fun. They had crazy 80's Flock of Seagulls hair and skinny ties. The people watching was also excellent.

So, because I love a good contest, I'm throwing my hat in the ring for the Lily Bee DT. They have yummy yummy papers and awesome rubons. Great Chipboard and Die Cuts too. Ok - so I like all their stuff. Thus, I am trying out.
Busy busy week at work. Gotta work some this weekend too. But GOOD NEWS!!! It will be March on Monday. Bye Bye Jan/Feb!!!!!

Birthday Party and I know someone Famous

Miss Teenie had her birthday this weekend. It was a weekend long celebration beginning with school parties and ending with her big party at Pump It Up. Although, I'm pretty sure Jason thought it was his party too...
Check out the Apartment Therapy Blog to see a feature from our own Virginia! Yes my friends, she is awesome. So creative!
Here are a couple of layouts I've done recently. The first is an 8x8 for the Scrap Chic Boutique's birthday celebration that was last weekend.
This one is from the most recent Scripts Kit. It features goodness from Glitz, Jenni Bowlin, Making Memories, Lily Bee, Pink Paislee and AccuCut.
I also might know one of the MME Guest Designers for 2010 (no, its not me).
Just bought tix to the Amos Lee show in Huntsville in April. CANNOT WAIT! A fun trip with good friends. Something to look forward to.
February is ALMOST GONE!! Hooray! Time for March Beautification to begin. I feel a shopping spree coming on...oh wait, I have no money! Maybe I'll just paint my toes and call it a day.
